to stay with this approach.

As long as there are a significant number of customers on pre-3.0
releases (and there are), I'd say yes.  Too early to consider retiring
it.

In the Cougar design overview you were informed the standalone
installation script cw_install.sh is deprecated and will not be part of
the release.

This script was originally created to provide customers a way to get to
release 3.0 from 2.X and earlier releases without using a compact flash
with release 3.0 pre-installed.

Now that 3.2 has been released is there a need for this script in future
System W releases?=20
